Since 2023, the GLSC, in cooperation with the Stiftung Verbundenheit mit den Deutschen im Ausland, has been organizing virtual meetings of the Deutscher Sprachklub International for young people aged 15 to 19 from Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the USA.

The Sprachklub International offers students the opportunity to connect with German politicians, business leaders, and other inspiring personalities from diverse backgrounds. These discussions encourage participants to exchange ideas about their home countries and their ties to Germany, while also creating valuable networking opportunities.

The Sprachklub International typically meets three to four times per year. Students from GLSC member schools are welcome to participate. They are encouraged to attend all sessions and to contribute to the club’s annual publication in order to receive a Certificate of Participation.

GLSC Member Schools and their students (age 15 to 19, German Language Level A2/B1 and higher) interested in joining please fill out the registration form and e-mail to sprachklub@germanschools.org.

For additional information, please contact GLSC Board Member and Sprachklub International Coordinator (USA) Dr. Stefanie Mischner at
